The Nasarawa State Houseof Assembly Committee on Education, Science, and Technology has lauded the Nasarawa State Bureau for Information and Communication Technology (BICT) for its 2022 budget performance and good 2023 budget presentation.

Delivering the commendation, the Chairman of the Committee, Honourable Daniel Ogah Ogazi tasked them to keep up with their good work as the Director General and management of the Bureau appeared before the committee to defend their 2023 budget, which was before the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

The Director General assured them of the Bureau’s readiness to explore more ways of generating revenue for the state through ICT, while ensuring that Nasarawa State reaps the benefits of technology and has efficient digital growth.

Earlier, the Director General of the Bureau, Shehu Ibrahim, commended and appreciated His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule and the committee for giving them adequate attention to succeed.

Shehu Ibrahim alongside Mr. Oriola Opeyemi the Administrative Secretary, Aisha Rilwan Sidi, the Acting Director of E-Governance and Software Development, and Tijani Bashir the Director of Finance and Accounts, were all seen visibly happy as they exited the assembly complex.
