FULafia to contract faculties of administration, education, environmental sciences, others

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Muhammad Sanusi Liman, has handed over to contractors sites for the construction of buildings, chief among which is the university senate building.

The sites of the buildings were handed over to the contractors, Thursday, by the vice-chancellor.

Other buildings to be handled by the contractors are the university health centre, faculties of administration, education and environmental sciences.

Speaking while handing over the sites to the contractors, the vice-chancellor warned that the buildings must conform to specifications and meet expected standards.

He said that in FULafia, corruption, in any form or kind, is not tolerated, warning the contractors to strictly abide by the terms of their contracts.

He, however, expressed his satisfaction with the calibre and profiles of the contractors chosen to undertake construction of the buildings, saying: “You’re welcome to our university and don’t hesitate to request for any assistance you may need to make your work successful.”

He reiterated the commitment of university, under his leadership, to move the institution to enviable heights.

Liman was accompanied to the sites by the head of physics department and the desk officer, TETfund, Dr. Sadiq Aliyu, and other members of staff.
