Close ties between executive, legislature paramount for devt – New Nasarawa AG to lawmakers

Dr Musa Ahmed Muhammed, the New Accountant General of Nasarawa State, has called for good working relationship between the executive and the legislative arms of government for peace, progress and speedy development across the State.

Dr Musa Ahmed Muhammed a two term former Speaker of the State Assembly stated this when he paid familiarization visit on the Speaker and members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly today in Lafia.

He said that good and cordial working relationship among the arms of government was necessary for development to thrive.

” I am here to inform the Rt. Hon Speaker and Honourable Members officially of my appointment as Accountant General of the State.

” From here I am moving to the Judiciary to inform the State Chief Judge of my appointment.

” I want to commend the House for its peaceful nature and cordial working relationship with the executive arm in the State ,and seek for more synergy for effective administration ” he said.

Musa also lauded the Speaker for his all inclusive leadership and called for its sustenance.

Besides, he assured of his readiness to adhere to rule of law while discharging his duties.

On his part, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the House appreciated the New Accountant General for the visit and assured him of their support at all times.

The Speaker re-assured of good working relationship among the arms of government in the State for speedy development.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi called on the people of the State to give the new AG their maximum support to succeed.
