Election: APC to discipline members for anti-party activities in Nasarawa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa state said it will take decisive disciplinary action against its members who engaged in anti-party activities in the just concluded elections.
This was contained  in a press statement issued in Lafia and signed by the state secretary of the party, Alhaji Aliyu Bello.
While expressing appreciation to its members, stakeholders and supporters for the overwhelming support it received during the general elections that led to an APC victory at all levels in the state, the party said it has evidence to tender against the identified erring members.
“The party however notes with deep concern the actions and attitude of some of her Executive Council members; members and major stakeholders at various levels who betrayed the party by engaging in “anti-party” activities” the statementread in part.
“We therefore wish to inform our members and supporters that the party has record of all those who undermined the party during the election”.
“Consequently, the party has resolved to take disciplinary action in accordance with the constitution of the party against erring members and stakeholders identified and proven to have engaged in “anti party” activities during the election at all levels”.
The enjoined its members and supporters to remain resolute and keep faith with the party as it moves to the next level of good governance in the state.
