Nasarawa will meet N1Nbn monthly IGR target, says Revenue Boss

The Executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Internal Revenue Service, Ahmed  Muhammad, has stated that the state will meet its N1 billion monthly target with the introduction of the automated process of tax generation in the state.
Mr Muhammad said the revenue agancy is collaborating with ministries and other agencies in the state towards the realization of this mandate. 
He,  however, lamented the activities of faking tax documents by some individuals,  which according to him has been a torn on the flesh of government especially in places like Karu local government area.
The revenue boss  assured security measures have been taken to track down the perpetrators, stating that quite a number of arrests had been made in that regard.
It would be recalled that Ahmed Mahammad took over the administration of the Nasarawa state internal revenue services a year ago with a promised of  reaching a targeted monthly internal revenue of N1 billion monthly. , from the day he was appointed by governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
