The Sokoto State chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Comrade Bello Aliyu Goronyo has said Nigerians should now see from all indices since the All Progressive Congress (APC) assumed leadership that the party  is not just a failed one but has no vision for the country. 

“”I wish to express my gratitude and appreciation and that of my exco to all all bonafide members of our party, for your commitment and unwavering support to the progress of the PDP, even during the challenging times of 2023, when the mandate of our party was stolen.

“It is noteworthy that in spite of that temporary drawback, the PDP has only grown in strength, as people in Sokoto State and Nigeria realize that the APC at all levels is a bad choice that has plunged their lives in misery””. 

Goronyo, who stressed that the APC’s failure at all levels and in all State was responsible for the overflowing membership enrollment in the PDP, maintained that, only the PDP has Nigerians at heart. 

Delivering his speech at the PDP Congress held at the Sokoto State party Secretariat, Honorable Goronyo said having led the party for four years, he can confidently affirm that the party has commendable internal democracy and developmentally minded. 

The party chairman further appealed to all Nigerians to retrieve their stolen mandate by ensuring that they vote out the APC come 2027. 

Those present at the Sokoto PDP State Congress included, former governor and leader of the party in the state, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, PDP National Organizing Secretary, Honorable Umar Bature, all serving and past PDP House of Representative and Assembly members, party chieftain and delegates from across the 23 local government areas of the state.
