2019: APC Chieftain Recommends Sack of Cabinet Members Who Betrayed Al-Makura

By Emmanuel Ukumba, Lafia
The national vice chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) for North-central zone, Suleiman Wambai, has recommended that Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State should sack all members of his cabinet who betrayed him at the polls during the just concluded National Assembly elections.
The APC zonal vice chairman stated this yesterday in a remark in Government House, Lafia during a solidarity visit by supporters of the APC over the governor’s recent victory at the polls as senator elect for the Nasarawa south senatorial district.
He therefore alerted the governor that some members of his cabinet were his enemies who deserved to be shown the way out following their betrayal role during the National Assembly election in the southern zone of the state.
He continued: “You (Al-Makura) have to look out there are enemies with us everywhere who deserved not to be with us because this victory we have earned, they were not part of us. They were leaking our strategies to win the election to our enemies.”
“Those who deserved to be with us, let them be. Those who belong in this movement, let them go because they are not part of the victory we earned.”
Wambai concluded that if the governor had not win the senatorial election, most of them would have gone into a state of coma because the defeat wouldn’t have been to the governor alone, but the entire APC family in the state including President Muhammadu Buhari.
