Central, Southern Plateau Electorates Endorse Lalong For 2nd Term

There are indications that people from the central and southern Plateau state may return the incumbent governor, Simon Lalong, as governor of the state come 2nd March 2019, following a large turnout of electorates both at the central and southern Plateau state during zonal rallies held at separate locations.
In Pankshin, central Plateau, there was a large turn out of party supporters who welcomed the APC gubernatorial candidate in admiration, the venue of the rally nearly turned into a carnival.
A former senator, who recently also sought election into national assembly on the platform of the PDP, Mr. Sati Gogwin decamped to the APC and donated his campaign materials to governor Lalong campaign organization, including two campaign vehicles.
Similarly, the former governor of the state, Sen.Joshua Dariye who is serving jail term for alleged misappropriation of state funds spoke at the event through the state APC chairman, Hon. Layep Dabang.
According to Hon.Dabang, he visited Dariye in Kuje  Prisons  and the former governor solicited votes for Lalong.
Meanwhile, in Shendam, Sovernor Simon Lalong proved wrong the notion that says “a prophet is not honored in his home” as  the governor who hails from Ajikamai, Shendam local government area, was received at his abode with high enthusiasm during his re-election campaign bid.
