Gov. Sule revives Umaisha rural electrification abandoned 25 Years ago – Ohimege Opanda

….. Ohimege Opanda Turbans Gov. Sule as Sarkin Yaki Opanda, for dismantling Darul- Salam terrorists, other security efforts.

The Ohimege Opanda of Umaisha in Nasarawa State, HRH Alhaji Usman Abdullahi has commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for reviving rural electrification abandoned in Umaisha, Toto LGA since 1996.

The first class traditional ruler gave the commendation while playing host to Gov. Sule, who was in his palace to recieve blessings ahead of flagging off of his second term camping in Toto LGA today.

The monarch said that the move by the Governor for reviving the Umaisha rural electrification abandoned since 1996 and connect the people with national grid if completed would boost the socio-economic activities and improve on the standard of living of the people of the area and its environs.

” His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, you have recently provided releif material to the flood victims in this area.

” You have started the construction of Toto/ Umaisha road,

” You are embarking on provision of rural electrification to our people as this if completed will boost the socio-economic activities and standard of living of our people.

” You have dismantled Darul-Salam and other criminal elements in Toto in which we are enjoying peace in Toto LG today

” Whether you come or not, we are with you at all times because of your peace efforts and other developmental strides.

The first class tradtional ruler assured Gov. Sule of his people’s readiness to return him to the government House come 2023.

He turbaned Gov. Sule with Sarkin Yaki Opanda due to the Governor’s peace and security efforts especially dismantling of the Darul-Salam terrorists group in the area.

The traditional ruler officially presented Gov. Abdullahi Sule with certificate as Sarkin Yaki Opanda.

Responding, Gov. Abdullahi Sule appreciated the monarch for the traditional title and assured of his administration’s readiness continue to prioritize security at all times

” I am here to seek for your royal blessings and we have gotten the blessing of Sarkin Yaki today, I appreciate you Zaki

” God has helped us to bring peace to Toto by dismantled Darul-Salam and other criminal elements away from Toto,” he said

The Governor appreciated Rt.Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the state legislative and other stakeholders for giving his adminisitration the maximum support to succeed.

Sule promised to establish Marble company in Ugya, Toto LGA to create job opportunities and for the overall development of the area and the State at large.

He called for loyalty and respect to constituted authorities.

On his part, the Speaker of the State Legislature, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi lauded Gov. Sule for his developmental strides in the area and the state at large.

” I want to tell you that we will always be loyal to the Ohimege because he is our father and we always respect his decision.

” The Ohimege told us that he has no any other candidate but you for Governor and we have also adopted what he told us.

” As we have no any governorship candidate but you His Excellency come 2023

” In 2019, Gov. Sule came to this place to recieved Ohimege’s blessing, he received the Ohimege blessing and become the Governor

” And today he is here again to recieve Ohimege blessing and by God grace, he will be returned to Government House as Governor come 2023,” he said

The Speaker said that the ruling APC supporters in the area would not join issues and insult with the opposition parties.

” We will not join issues with the opposition, we will not revenge or retaliate, if they abused or insulted us, we will revenge through the ballots during voting in 2023,” he said.

The Speaker called on the people of the area and the state to support Gov. Sule to succeed beyond 2023.

Also speaking, Sen. Abubakar Sodangi, the Chairman, Gov.Sule/ Akabe Campaign Council drummed support for Gov. Sule and other APC candidates to succeed.

He said that Gov. Sule has done well which was evident in his developmental strides across the state.

Sodangi said that Gov. Sule would continue to provide the much needed dividends of democracy to the people, if re-elected in 2023.

It would be reported that the visit had in attendance Dr Emmanuel Akabe, the State Deputy Governor, Mr John Mamman, the State APC Chairman, Sen Tanko Al-Makura ( APC- Nasarawa South), Mr Hassan Liman, SAN, Barr, Labaran MAGAJI, Dr Haruna Kigbu, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa ( APC- Toto/ Gadabuke), Arc.Abubakar Oseze, government functionaries, present and past political office holders, politicians and other well wishers.
