India to establish tractor assembly, teaching hospital in Nasarawa

The India deputy high commissioner in Nigeria VSDL Surendra said the government of India is willing to establish Tractor Assembly and build a world class teaching hospital in Nasarawa state.

Mr Surendra disclosed this when the senior special assistant to Gov Abdullahi Sule paid him a courtesy call at the Indian high commission 364 cadastral zone central business Area Abuja Wednesday.

The Indian deputy high Commissioner in Nigeria who received the SSA hon Yusuf Jibrin Maianguwa on behalf of the Indian high Commissioner said the Nasarawa economic development Strategy NEDS document will surely guide them on to invest in Nasarawa state promising to email the NEDS document to his Boss to study and plan to visit Gov Abdullahi Sule for more bilateral talks.

He said the government of India will be glad to work with the Nasarawa state government on Agriculture, health and industrialization which are among the state priorities.

Presenting the NEDs document to the Indian deputy Ambassador Mr Surendra on behalf of Gov Abdullahi Sule, Yusuf Maianguwa said the visit was seek for partnership with the government of India on Agriculture, health and industry to boost development in Nasarawa state.

Maianguwa said the Gov is interested to meet with the Indian ambassador for more discussion on how to actualise the bilateral Relation.

Yusuf Maianguwa promised to brief the gov on the Indian mission to the state to enable him fix a date for the Indian ambassador visit to Nasarawa state which was accepted by Mr Surendra.
