Governor Abdullahi Sule has made a personal donation of N10 million for the seperation of cojoined twins at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi in Nasarawa state.
The Director General, Strategic Communication and Press Affairs to the governor, Mr. Yakubu Lamai, said the governor made the donation after an unscheduled stopover at the hospital on his way back from Abuja.
He said the governor was received by the management staff of the hospital who where making slide presentations about a major surgery which they were about to perform to separate two conjoined twins.

It will be recalled that a set of conjoined twins Hassana and Hussaina were recently born at a hospital in Toto local government  area of the state before being moved to the Federal Medical Center,  Keffi, for better care and superior  management of the procedure.

“Engineer Sule was told that to separate Hassana and Hussaina who were joined at the abdomen, a team of 35 Medical experts have been assembled by FMC Keffi and the surgery which will cost N25 million which is planned to be performed next week”.

“The governor commended the federal medical center  for its meticulous preparation to undertake such a major surgical procedure,  and he also prayed that God will crown their efforts with success”.
He explained that:
“Engineer Sule immediately went into his car and returned to present a personal donation of N10 million Naira to support the separation of the conjoined twins at Federal Medical Center Keffi”.
