Emir Of Lafia Enjoins The older Generation To Invest In Training The Youths

Justice Sidi Bage, rtd , the new Emir of Lafia has harped on the the older generation to consider the training of the youthful generation as the bedrock for a better tomorrow.
Justice Bage, said that the duty of training the youth is a task that must not be taken lightly considering the huge implications that comes with allowing them to go untrained.
“It behoves us therefore  to endeavour to guide our children aright, the earlier we start the guidance the better in line with the common saying that you can bend a stick when it is fresh, when you try it when it is dry you will break it” he said.
The Emir made the remark,  shortly after taking the oath  of office as the 17th   Emir of Lafia at the Lafia square last Friday.
The new Emir, stressed the need to remind the young men and women of the significant role they have to play  in the society, considering their strength and agility to make a headway in life.
He admonished them, to channel their energies  and talents into profitable ventures and not vices, stressing that the older generation need to provide mentorship to the youth to be entrepreneurs so they can be self reliant in future.
Justice Bage, made a clarion call for all and sundry residing in the Emirate and beyond  to live in harmony to established a better society that everyone will be happy to live in.
“We must be in harmony, both old and and young, to establish a better society, it is our fervent prayers that Lafia Emirate shall prosper in leaps and bounds” he prayed.
He also solicited the the support and the goodwill of all both far and near in taking the Lafia Emirate and the entire State forward.
