From Ibrahim Mistaali in Yola

A one time Adamawa State Governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), the Labour  Party (LP), and as well as the  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mauzu Modibbo is dead.

He died  Sunday  in Yola as confirmed by a family source, Alhaji Abdullahi Njidda Damare, who said  that he regreted to announce the death of Alhaji Adamu Mauzu Modibbo.

” I regret to announce the death of Alhaji Adamu Mauzu Modibbo. The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained and the time for burial is yet to be announced” he said.

Before his demise , Modibbo was a strong political ally of the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku has mostly supported Adamu Mauzu governorship ambition in the state.
