The Secretary to the Government of Gombe State, Prof. Ibrahim Njodi has bagged prestigious merit Award by two Northern youth groups as youth empowerment leader and the most youth friendly Secretary to the State Government in the Country for the year 2019.

The award is being proposed by the Nigerian Youth leaders Council NYLC and Northern youth Progressive Congress NYPC.

This is contained in a press statement jointly signed by the leaders of the two groups Comrade Abah John Abah, National Coordinator NYLC and Comrade Adakole Ochai National Coordinator NYPC and made available to newsmen at the weekend.

The choice of Prof Ibrahim Njodi SSG Gombe state according to the youth groups is in recognition of his open door policy and favourable disposition to youth development and empowerment since assumption of office in that capacity.

The prestigious award the statement added will be presented to the awardee on Tuesday 17th December, 2019 during an elaborate investiture to be held at his office in Gombe.

The statement urged the awardee to remain steadfast and committed to his job of emancipating the youths.
