Gov Sule edges closer to second term victory, gets Ohimege Opanda’s endorsement

A First Class Traditional Ruler in Nasarawa State,HRH the Ohimege Opanda Umaisha, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi has endorsed Gov. Abdullahi Sule for second tenure in office come 2023.

This, the royal father said, was due to the governor’s developmental strides in his community Umaisha and the state at large and also to enable the Governor continue with his good work for the people of the state.

Alh Usman Abdullahi made the endorsement today Wednesday when Gov. Abdullahi Sule  visited him in his palace in Umaisha, Toto Local Government Area of the State to kick start his state wide tour marking his two years in office.

According to him, I want to thank you for this visit and at the same time I hereby  call on my people to support you for the second tenure so that you will be able to complete the good work you have started.

” I must say that we are proud of you and lucky to have you as our governor for many reasons which include your patience, transparency,  good vision , diligence, and above all respect for traditional rulers and humanity in general.

” On behalf of myself and the entire people of Toto Local Government Area,  I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to you for the role you played in ensuring the return of peace and stability in Toto Local Government Area following Bassa/ Egbira crises and activities of bandits and kidnappers.

” I also wish to say that we are grateful to you for bringing investors like AZMA and flour mills to our area for the purpose of rice mill and production of sugarcane / cassava which will enhance economic activities in the area,” he said.

The first class traditional ruler also appealed to Gov Sule for the establishment of tertiary institutions like College of Education or College of Agriculture in Toto Local Government for development of education,  creation of jobs and infrastructure.

” Like oliver twist, may I seize this opportunity to request for more dividends of democracy by asking for the following; deployment of more troops to Toto Local Government Area, particularly in Uttu forest where some reminance of bandits are still hiding.

“Request for flour mills or any company to go to Uttu area for farming project so that the area will no longer be a hiding place for criminals.

” Rehabilitation of Toto-Umaisha road which  is now in a state of dilapidation  and should be extended to our boarder with Kogi state for economic enhancement, ” the first class traditional ruler said.

Ohimege Usman Abdulahi prayed for God’s more blessings and protection to Gov. Sule as he also prayed for peace and tranquility in Toto,the state and in Nigeria as a whole.

He decorated the Governor with Egbura regalia.
