Hon. Shafa Installs Street Lights worth N4m in his constituency

Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency  at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has installed about 76 solar Street lights worth 4million naira in some communities of  his Constituency . 

Hon. Shafa, Chairman, House Committee on Health said that the project would  boost security and tackle  social  economic challenges of the people considering the importance of light to human and societal development.

He noted that Karmo and Tudu-uku in Gadabuke Development Area benefited from installation of 30 street lights .

In Toto LG. Chiji village got 16 street lights, Gateh got 15 and Ahere got 15 respectively.

” I have decided to install the street lights in order to reduce the security challenges in my constituency, ” he said 

Shafa  enjoined  the benefiting communities to safeguard them jealously in their interest and for the overall development of the constituency.

He also urged communities that are yet to benefit from the project to be patient  while expressing his determination to initiate the project in their communities.

” The project will be in phases and will cut across other areas that have not benefited from the first phase,” he added.

Shafa assured the people of his constituency of quality representation at the state legislative body in order to improve in their standard of living.

He solicited for continued support and prayers from all and sundry to enable him succeed in the task ahead of him.

Besides, the lawmaker called on the people of his constituency and the state at large to continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administrations to succeed.
