I’m encouraged by Nasarawa financial status – Gov Sule

Nasarawa state governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule,  said he is impressed by the financial records he inherited from the past administration of Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
Sule made this known yesterday at a dinner organised in his honour by the Nasarawa North Senatorial Zone.
He said: “
The first thing I wanted to see when I was sworn in was to go to the office and look at our financials, I wanted to see what we have in every bank, and believe me, from Lafia to this place, I have seen it already, I have seen all our balances, because that is the first thing, as a manager, that I wanted to do”.

I am challenged by what I have seen and I am not discouraged, I strongly believe that we can take it from here and build Nasarawa State, but I cant do it alone, I need everyone of you to be able to do that” he added.
The governor who promised to carry everyone along, however, said he will not forget thaose who worked to ensure his victory at the polls.
“So it doesnt matter who voted for me or who supported me, at the end of the day everyone in Nasarawa State today is my responsibility”.

“That is not to say I will forget the people who have worked for me day and night to ensure that I am here”.

“By the grace of God, I will not deny any citizen of Nasarawa State their right, but I will not forget those who have worked for me”.
