Following the recent attack on the convoy of the Nasarawa state deputy governor, he leadership of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Nasarawa State has said that the association was ready to partner the state and security agencies in their effort to expose criminal elements in the state. 
Accordingly, the leadership of the  association has said that, measures will be taken, including the setting up a security committee in all the local government areas of the state to check the activities of criminal elements in the state.
The state Chairman of the association, Mohammed Husseini stated this Wednesday in a meeting at the instance of the chairman of Akwanga Local Government Council, Samuel Meshi in Akwanga.
Hussaini who distanced the association from insinuations that it’s members were responsible for the prevailing criminality in the state, called on heads of Fulani comminities (Ardos) and and other leaders of the association at the local levels not to harbour strangers whose identities are not known. According him: “It is unfortunate that the convoy of the state deputy governor, Emmanuel Akabe was attacked with the knowledge of some people within us”.
“There are criminal elements amongst us, who migrated  from zanfara, Niger, Katsina and other places and are destroying our good records in the state.”
He said: “Forthwith, we will not condone any acts of criminality by any one of us, it is our collective responsibility to investigate and expose any stranger whose activity is not clear to us because they are the same people who turn around to be threats to our lives and lands.
The chairman of Akwanga local government, Samuel Meshi who was represented by his deputy, Safiyanu Isa said, the meeting was about peace and tranquility in the domain.
“We have been having security challenges in and around our environment, and that is why we called the meeting of all the Fulani leaders and their members to fish out the bad ones among them.
