Nasarawa open to investors -Governor Sule

Nasarawa State Governor, His Excellency Engineer Abdullahi Alhaji Sule has opened the doors of the state wide for genuine investors in order to facilitate the speedy industrialization of the state.

Governor Abdullahi Alhaji Sule made the pronouncement while receiving in audience at the Government House, the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties, Office of the Secretary to the Federation, Engineer Festus Y. N. Daudu on Thursday.

Governor Abdullahi Alhaji Sule emphasized that his administration will aggressively pursue proactive policies on the economy, security and industrialization, in line with the vision of the Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Today, the government of President Buhari is working in three important areas of economy, social justice, which is in the area of fighting corruption and security.

” I think within the last one month, we have had series of meetings, negotiations, all in areas of security,” Governor Sule stated.

The Nasarawa State Governor harped on the imperative of peaceful coexistence, stressing that his administration will work tirelessly towards ensuring lasting peace across the state in order to attract investors.

The Governor used the moment to disclosed the decision of his administration to open up those parts of the state close to the Federal Capital in order to attract people to such areas like Karu, Uke and Karshi, through the creation of conducive environment for residential houses.

Governor Abdullahi Alhaji Sule however sought for the support and cooperation of residents in the state, especially federal workers residing in Nasarawa State but who work in Abuja, on prompt payment of taxes to help towards the industrialization mantra of his administration.

While commending Engineer Daudu over his recent appointment as Permanent Secretary, the Governor cautioned him on the ethics of information management, which the Governor said, is critical in the smooth running of any organization.

Earlier his his opening address, Engineer Daudu, who led other heads of agencies under the supervision of his office on the courtesy call, described the visit as multidimensional, considering the support, encouragement and visibility Governor Sule requires to pilot the affairs of the state to the next level through his industrialization agenda.

” I’m pleased to note here that your industrialization agenda of the state is in line with His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan towards moving the country to the Next Level,” Engineer Daudu said.

The Permanent Secretary pledged total and unflinching support to the Governor and his team to deliver the benefit of democracy to the people, while also calling on patriotic citizens of the state as well as residents to support Governor Abdullahi Alhaji Sule to deliver not only on his cpaign promises but also on party manifestos of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to take the nation to the Next Level.

Engineer Daudu further described Governor Sule’s electoral victory as ordained and a reward for the love and confidence the people reposed on him and his Deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, to deliver selfless service to humanity.

Among the top dignitaries that accompanied the Permanent Secretary are directors, departmental and units heads of the Special Duties Office in the Office of the Secretary to the Federation.

Also as part of the delegation are, the Director General, National Lottery Commission, the Honorable Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.

Others are, the Executive Secretary, National Lottery Trust Fund and the Executive Secretary, National Merit Award.
