Rt Hon Ibrahim Balarabe the Speaker,Nasarawa State House of Assembly has led the last assembly in the state,that is the 5th session of the state assembly before his reelection on 10th June,2019.unopposed to head the 6th assembly.
This no doubt was informed as a result of his outstanding performance and pragmatic feat achieved during the last 5th assembly in the state which was adjudged to be the most peaceful among the 36 state houses of assembly in the country.
Similarly,the last assembly under speaker Balarabe Abdullahi was rated as the best in the state in time of law making having past the highest number of bills in the history of the Nasarawa State legislature just as it was equally judged to be the best in time of harmonious relationship with the executive.
Having achieved these in the last assembly under his watch,Rt.Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi no doubt is set to break another heartwarming record that will surpassed that of the last assembly.
Already,the records he set in the last one year of the 6th assembly has signaled the green light and how interesting and transforming the 6th assembly will be.
Already within one year,the Balarabe Abdullahi led 6th assembly has passed 15 bills into law and make 16 far reaching resolutions the feat that has never been achieved in the history of the state assembly since its inception in two decades.
In his usual way of touching the lives of his people positively at the constituency level,the Speaker is living no stone  on turn in that aspect.
In his last administration,he always went down home to empowered his people and provide scholarship for students at the end of every one year the strategy he has now change in this his second coming to six months.
And in his sixth month in office, Nasarawa Speaker dolls out 16 million for Scholarship,Agriculture,Women and  Youth Empowerments in his Constituency.
  Rt Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi six months after he assumed office,has empowered his constituents with cash and material items worth about N16 million for the overall development of the constituency and the state at large.
Abdullahi (APC-Umaisha/Ugya)distributed N30,000 cash each to 100 students, N30,000 cash each to 100 women, 70 sewing machines,70 grinding machines  and over 800 pieces of  wrappers to women in his constituency.

The lawmaker also presented 40 water pump machines , 50 cartoons of herbicides and 40 sprayers in order to boost food security in his constituency, the state  and Nigeria at large.
The 30.000 each to 100 students according to the Speaker is his yearly Scholarship under “Balarabe Education Support Program”while the 30,000 each to 100,women is to enable them start small businesses under the yearly “Balarabe Women Empowerment program”respectively.

“Since my first election in 2015, I initiated these programmes aimed at reducing hardship among my people which by God’s grace I hope to sustain”he said.
“My people are of the riverine,mainly farmers and fishermen and I deem it necessary to procured agricultural inputs for them”the speaker added.
He used the medium to call for prayers and support for president mohammadu Buhari,Governor Abdullahi Sule and other leaders at all levels to succeed.
In his address at the event the representative of Governor Abdullahi Sule  emphasized that since 2015 Balarabe Abdullahi has changed the narrative in grassroot politics in the state describing him as an asset to APC as a party calling on others to emulate him.
On their parts,the national vice chairman of APC,North Central Ahmed Suleiman wambai,Alh Aliyu Bello,APC State Secretary who stood in for his Chairman,chairman of the occasion Yusuf musa omaki,state commissioner for Health pharm Ahmed Baba Yahaya among others showered encomium on the speaker calling on the people of the area to continued their support for him and the party for more good things.
The deputy speaker of the state assembly Rt Hon Nahemiah Tsentse Dandaura supported by Hon Mohammed Ibrahim Alkali described him as a leader  worthy of emulation praying God to uplift him the more.

Recalled that this is coming just six months into his second tenure.
It will also be recalled that during the speaker’s first tenure and within hundred days he sank boreholes across the six electoral wards in his constituency,donated six vehicles and six motor circles in 2015.

It would also  be recalled that in December, 2016, the speaker who is also the vice chairman North Central,Nigeria Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures  distributed scholarship, modern flying boats and vehicles, among other items, worth N14 million to his constituents
It  would be further  recalled that also in  December 2018, the Nasarawa State Number Three citizen distributed scholarship and  other empowerment items, worth N15  million to his constituents.
Being a presiding officer does not stop him from doing things at the hallow chamber as he lead by example in taken the pains of sponsoring personal bills many which have seen the lights of the day.
To say that Nasarawa Speaker Rt Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi is making a difference in the league of Nigerian Speakers of state legislatures is to state the obvious.
