Edward Pwajok, former member representing Jos South/Jos East federal constituency, says his recent political consultation to major stakeholders and some socio-political organisations across Plateau North was “fruitful and successful”, noting that it provided him an opportunity to enlighten them on certain issues and he was “blessed and given the go ahead to deputised for the LabourParty (LP.), gubernatorial flag bearer Dr. Patrick Dakum.

Since the former state attorney general, left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the LP he has been going round meeting with various political stakeholders across his senatorial zone.

Speaking in an interview with newsmen in Jos, shortly after Dakum commission a campaign office donated by Pwajok in Kuru, he said he was able to use the consultation outing to debunk and clarify certain misconceptions about his political sojourn.

He said he also used the outing to inform them about Dakum’s decision to pick him as running mate.

“I went to consult my people on the decision of Dr. Dakum to nominate me as his running mate, and I have been overwhelmed with positive responses, everywhere they are saying that is the best combination.” He noted.

Adding that “they have given me the go ahead in the mission to write the wrongs and to bring hope for the people of Plateau.”

Also speaking Dakum said even though Pwajok is yet to be unveil officially, noted that “is no more a secret.”

He disclosed that a date will be fix when he will be unveil and his qualities and credentials will be role out.

He said with Pwajok they will form a team that is not only ready for campaign but ready for quality and good governance.

“The deputy will complement and become a perfect partner, because we are setting up a team that is serious, we are not joking about the challenges we are going to face, we are not joking about what we are going to confront, we are not joking about our determination and passion to move Plateau State forward. “
