We’ll invest more in Nasarawa through sustained collaboration – Dangote Group

Dangote Industries Ltd says it will expand its investments in Nasarawa state through sustained collaboration with the state government.

Mansur Ahmed, Group Executive Director, Stakeholder Management and Corporate Communications, who received The EYEWITNESS Business Leader Of The Year Award on behalf of the organisation at its corporate  headquarters in Abuja last week, disclosed that plans have reached advanced stage to expand their commitment in the state through a rice production project.

He said with over N217 billion already invested in the Tunga sugar refinery, the Dangote Industries will explore other avenues of consolidating on its investment presence in the state.
Presenting the award on behalf of the Eyewitness team, Mukhtar Wakeel, congratulated the Dangote Group for their continued efforts through their various projects and interventions to communities and humanity and assured that their services would continue to receive the needed reviews by the newspaper organisation.

Publisher of The EYEWITNESS Newspapers, Donatus Nadi, highlighted the peaceful coexistence between Tunga Sugar Refinery and their host community and the entire citizenry in the state and promised to sensitize and educate the them on the need for greater collaboration for collective prosperity.
