No Rift Between Gov. Sule And Myself – Sen. Al-Makura

….says its speculations of political jobbers, Nasarawa advancing under Gov. Sule

The immediate past Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Sen. Umaru Tanko Al-makura has put to rest rumours making rounds of a rift between him and his sucessor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule.
Sen. Al-Makura stated this on Wednesday while fielding questions from journalists shortly after paying a private visit on the governor at the Nasarawa Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
He debunked reports of discord between him and Governor Sule as insinuations and rumours of political jobbers seeking political participation and space through fiendish strategies.
The former governor said: “That’s the oil that fuels politics. If there are no speculations and insinuations, the we are not playing politics. There are people who are angling and strategizing to have a place in the political space and the only opening they have is to create confusion, speculations and all kinds of bad blood so that that would create an avenue for Their participation.”
Sen. Al-Makura who disclosed that himself and the governor have realised the antics of desperate politicians trying to sow seeds of discord between them but they are united and still share the same vision for the collective prosperity of Nasarawa State.
“We have realised that. A lot of times we hear so many fairy tales about me or about the governor, but between me and him we actually know the dynamics of political activities and that has not taken our commitment, affinity and camaraderie together” he maintained.
He stressed further that: “Whatever you hear is rumour and remains rumour and that is the fuel that energizes politics. As far as I am concerned we are working together as one And United family that we wish Nasarawa State to be.
Al-Makura noted that Nasarawa State is in the right track under Governor Sule, stressing that given the next four years Nasarawa would witness unprecedented growth and development.
