Gov Sule Appoints Ex-Lawmaker, Dr. Kassim As New NSUBEB Chair

Governor Abdullahi Sule has appointed a former member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, NSHA, Dr. Kassim Muhammad Kassim as the new Chairman of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, NSUBEB.

The Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji announced the appointment in a statement on Friday in Lafia.

Magaji also announced the appointment of Alanana Attah, Hajiya Fatima Shuaibu Ahmad and Jibrin Egwa Nagambo (Ogaji) as Member I, Member II and Member III of the board respectively.

Similarly, the Governor has also approved the appointment of Engineer Sidi Mohammad Sidi as the Director-General of the Nasarawa State Bureau for Rural Development and Mohammed Omas Mohammed as the Chairman of the Governing Council for the state-owned College of Nursing Sciences.

The Secretary to the State Government also announced the appointment of Hon. Tanko Maiyaki as Chairman of the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service while Emmanuel Bakyu and Idris Yunusa Suleiman as Members in line with the commitment of the present administration to provide efficient and effective service delivery to the people of the State.

The statement added that the appointees would been inaugurated in due course by Governor Sule.
