2025: NAMA MD Hails Stakeholders, Staff Teamwork, Dedication

As the year begins, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer MD/CEO) of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk, has registered his appreciation to the entire staff of the agency, airline operators and the entire aviation stakeholders for their dedication in the outgoing year. 

Engr Ahmed Umar Farouk who is the Danmajen Gwandu and Gamjin Kabi, expressed his heart felt greetings in a new year message where said the dedication, resilience, and collaboration displayed by staff and all stakeholders contributed to the success of Nigeria’s aviation sector over the past year. 

While stressing that they have been able to ensure seamless airspace operation because of teamwork and innovation, Engr Farouk assured that they will attain greater heights this year and years to come. 

The message as sent by Engr Farouk rad in part, “”I, Engr Ahmed Umar Farouk,
FNSE, MCOREN, NPOM (Dan Majen Gwandu/Gamjin Kabi), has conveyed my heartfelt New Year greetings to the agency’s staff, airline operators, and aviation stakeholders.  

“As we welcome a brand-new year, this is a time for reflection, gratitude, and hope,” he said. “The past year has tested our resolve, but together, we have demonstrated resilience, professionalism, and a shared commitment to excellence. I am immensely proud of the progress we’ve achieved and the foundation we’ve built for an even better future.”  

Engr. Farouk particularly commended NAMA’s staff for their tireless efforts in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable airspace management across the country. “Our achievements as an agency would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication and professionalism of our staff. 

He therefore added that, the staff are the backbone of NAMA’s success, and that he is confident that their innovative spirit and commitment will propel the agency to new heights in the coming year.  

The Airspace management boss also expressed appreciation to airline operators and aviation stakeholders for their collaboration and trust in NAMA saying,  “Your partnership has been invaluable in upholding international aviation standards and ensuring a secure, seamless airspace for all. 

”As we move forward, we remain fully committed to strengthening these relationships and fostering a more dynamic and sustainable aviation industry,” he affirmed.  

Continuing, the MD/CEO urged all stakeholders to embrace the values of safety, unity, and responsibility as they continue their efforts in the aviation sector, adding, “”the collective contributions of everyone involved, whether on the ground, in the skies, or behind the scene have made a lasting impact on the industry and the nation at large.  

“As we turn the page to a new chapter, let us renew our dedication to excellence and the shared vision of advancing Nigeria’s aviation sector,” he appealed.
