NASARAWA CONTINUES TO PLAY PIVOTAL ROLE IN FG’S SOLID MINERALS REFORMS

Nasarawa State is at the forefront of the federal government’s efforts to reform the solid minerals mining sector.

The DG, Directorate of Strategy and Communications, Mr. Yakubu Lamai made this known in a statement made available to The EYEWITNESS.

He stated this after the Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, represented Governor Abdullahi A. Sule at the 3rd African Natural Resources & Energy Investment Summit (AFNIS) in Abuja.

The statement read: “The summit, organized by the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development, is being held at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja, with the theme “Natural Resources for Economic Development”.

Joining the Deputy Governor were the Honorable Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources, the Director-General of Strategic Communications & Event Management, and senior officials from NASIDA and the Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources.

“This high-powered delegation further shows Nasarawa State’s commitment to unlocking the potential of its natural resources to drive economic growth and development” he emphasized.
